Casual for a Cause:
Fighting Hunger with Long Island Cares
For the second year in a row, we at Sovereign Global's Corporate Headquarters participated in Long Island Care's Casual for a Cause. On May 23rd multiple companies joined together to support the Long Island community and help fight hunger together. Donations from the day are received by Long Island Cares and distributed to support non-profit organizations that host food banks across Long Island.
Long Island Cares Inc. was founded by the late Harry Chapin with the vision of creating, "A Hunger Free Long Island." To support the humanitarian needs of the community, the Long Island based non-profit brings together available resources for the benefit of hungry and food insecure community members.
