Our employees recently participated in Long Island's largest Casual Friday, during which multiple companies joined together to support the community. The event was held on Friday, June 2nd. Donations went to Long Island Cares, a non-profit that helps support Long Island food banks and connect in need.
Long Island Cares Inc. was founded by the late Harry Chapin. In an effort to provide for the humanitarian needs of the community, the Long Island based non-profit brings together available resources for the benefit of the hungry and food insecure on Long Island. Their goal is to improve food security for families, sponsor programs that help families achieve self-sufficiency, and educate the general public about the causes and consequences of hunger on Long Island. Their vision is, “A Hunger Free Long Island.”
