Sovereign Global Advisors teamed up with the New York City based nonprofit, The Pajama Program. They are an organization that delivers warm sleepwear and nurturing books to children in need. A team of Sovereign employees spent the day reading to the children and handing out donated books. Many of the children that are served are living in shelters and group homes and are often shuffled from one temporary home to another. They don’t get the rewarding experience of being read to. The Pajama Program volunteers are paired up with children who will get to choose a book of their choice and then have it read to them.

“Bedtime is such an important bonding time for children. It’s a time when they should feel safe and comfortable. There are thousands of children in America that do not have the opportunity to change their clothes for days.
